【摘要】:Part2ofstandardEN1756specifiessafetyrequirementsfordesignoftailliftsasdefinedin3.1formountingonwheeledpassengervehicles.Vehiclesfortheloadingofdisabledpassengersontoaircraftandshipsareincludedwithinthescopeofthestandard(althoughdock-mountedliftsareexcluded).Italsospecifiestheverificationofsuchtailliftsandthesafetyinformationthatshallbeprovidedfortheiruse.Thisdocumentdealswiththetechnicalrequirementstominimisethehazardslistedinclause4whichcanariseduringtheoperationoftailliftswhencarriedoutinaccordancewiththespecificationsasintendedbythemanufacturerorhisauthorisedrepresentative.Itappliestopassengertaillifts:—usedforthepurposeofembarkingand/ordisembarkingpassengerstoandfromsuchvehicles;—intendedtobefitted,temporarilyorpermanently,eitherinsideoronthefront,sideorrearofthewheeledvehicle;—driveneitherbyhandorbyelectricpower;—equippedwithaplatformtosupportpassengerswhomaybepedestriansorridersinwheelchairsandmaybeaccompaniedbyanattendant.Embarkingand/ordisembarkingoperationsincludetheuseofataillifttoliftand/orlowerpassengers,andifspecificallyapprovedbythemanufacturer,foruseasalinkbridge.Thestandardcoversthesignificanthazardswhichcouldoccurwhenatailliftisusedasintendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer.Alistofsignificanthazardsisgiveninclause4.ThisdocumentisnotapplicabletotailliftswhicharemanufacturedbeforethedateofpublicationofthisdocumentbyCEN.
